In 2007, I woke up paralyzed from the waist down.

I was living in New York City, with a lucrative career and a loving boyfriend. From the outside, it looked like I had it all. But inside, I felt empty, lost, and unfulfilled.

Skeptical yet desperate, I received my first acupuncture treatment. Within a month, I was able to walk again. That experience was a turning point: I quit my job, sold everything, ended my relationship, and bought a one-way ticket to Hanoi, Vietnam. I spent two years traveling the world, searching, exploring, and learning until I made the decision to come home and devote myself to the study of East Asian medicine.

That period of upheaval and uncertainty became the gateway to rediscovering my Destiny and returning to my Dao.

I grew up immersed in East Asian metaphysics, carrying my family’s lineage of face reading (Gwansang) and Bazi (Saju Palja). Yet I had to confront and unpack the complexities of internalized xenophobia to fully embrace the profound medicine of my ancestors. Over the past decade, I have dedicated myself to decolonizing and liberating my mind, body, soul, and spirit through Daoist healing, somatic practice, and mindfulness.

Elemental Archetypes is a sacred space where I share this ancestral medicine, elevate East Asian culture, and guide others to align with their own path and potential.

I bring nearly 20 years of training and lived experience as a doctor of East Asian medicine and mindful somatic embodiment practitioner. I also draw upon my personal and ancestral practice in Daoism and Engaged Buddhism, in the lineage of Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh.

Through Face Reading, Bazi Astrology, and Second Spring Initiation, I offer a sacred space where metaphysics meets lived experience. My work is not about giving instructions, but rather about guiding you toward your own alignment — revealing the subtle currents of timing, energy, and possibility that lead you toward your Destiny.

Together, we transform cosmic wisdom into living practice, allowing you the freedom to embody a life that resonates with the wholeness of your being.
